Samsung’s new Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 hits the US this month, but it comes with a hefty price tag. Office Depot updated its Web site on Monday to say it is now selling the 64GB black version of the tablet for pre-order, which will be released February 13, for $849.99.
The Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is one of Samsung’s newest tablets; it has a massive 12.2-inch diagonal touch-screen with 2,560×1,600 resolution and is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat. This plus-size tablet also comes with a quad-core processor, front 2-megapixel webcam, rear 8-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, built-in speakers, and an S-Pen stylus.
While the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 could be a crowd-pleaser with its amped up power and sharp screen resolution, it may be hard for customers to fork over such a big wad of cash for the tablet.
Samsung also recently unveiled its new Galaxy Tab Pro line, which comes in three sizes: 12.2-inch, 10.1-inch, and 8.4-inch. It’s unclear what the cost and release dates are for this line of tablets.
