Samsung unveiled its ‘Smart Hub Games Panel’ at the 2014 International CES. They’ve also announced that they’re planning on providing customers with new gaming experience, and allowing developers to use Smart TV as another channel to introduce the latest games. Some of the gaming companies Samsung will be working with include Electronic Arts (EA) and Gameloft, as well as Korean companies including Hanbitsoft, Com2usNFUN and MOMO.
What kind of games does Samsung have in store? Customers can expect 10 new, exciting games, including the ‘World in Audition’ – the latest version of a popular online dancing game and ‘Sky Chaser’ – an immersive, low-flying, shooting game.

Samsung Electronics today unveiled its ‘Smart Hub Games Panel’ at the 2014 International CES, as part of its plans to strengthen the TV-based gaming ecosystem. Samsung aims to provide its users with a new gaming experience and allow game developers to use Smart TV as another channel to introduce the latest games.
“We made our first step in establishing a new gaming environment by using the Samsung Smart TV network,” said Youngchan Kim, Vice President of the Service Product Manager Group of Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics. “Samsung Smart TV’s Games Panel is always open to all developers, and users will be able to enjoy a variety of fun games on their TV screens.”
The Smart Hub is Samsung Smart TV’s dedicated UI consisting of five panels, each of which provides a wide array of content For Samsung’s 2014 Smart TVs, one of these five panels has been redesigned as a Games Panel to offer a selection of games that consumers can enjoy on their TVs.
