Samsung Galaxy S4 Verizon Release Date Getting Closer

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is now $99 on Verizon Wireless, offering a cheaper option to the upcoming Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4. This marks the last major carrier to cut the price of the Samsung Galaxy S3, a move which we typically see when carriers the release of a new model is close.

This morning Verizon quietly cut the price of the Samsung Galaxy S3 to $99 online direct from Verizon, shoppers can also find the Verizon Galaxy S3 for as low as $19.99 on third party websites and users who signed up for Best Buy’s Update deal before the Super Bowl can score a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 for $50 as well.

we expect that Verizon will soon be announcing Galaxy S4 details. We already know that the Verizon Galaxy S4 passed through the FCC and competitors are planning spring launches for the Galaxy S4.

While these deals are tempting, we covered five reasons to buy the Galaxy S4 instead of the Galaxy S3, and the reasoning remains just as valid with these latest discounts.
